Cultivation works on new areas from large gardens to football pitches is done with Blec stoneburiers and power harrows, Harley stone rakes to level and clear stones then drilling with the Blec turf maker produce an excellent surface finish with good seed germination and establishment. Pre-seed fertilizer applications maintain that contained growth into a successful sward allowing the grass to outcompete the majority of weed growth within the sward. The same preparations are undertaken for turfing works, with both large and small roll being laid, supplied by the turf growers around the York area.
